In honor of Congregation B’nai Israel’s 150th Anniversary, a group of members volunteered to conduct oral history interviews of current members. Most of the subjects had been lifelong members of the Conservative Synagogue in Toledo, Ohio. The result is this volume consisting of interviews conducted in 2015 and 2016. These stories give a unique look at Jewish life in a midwestern city in Northwest Ohio from the perspective of forty three individuals aged 17 – 97.
