WCBI Celebrates Rosh Chodesh Adar: February 2021

Wednesday, February 17, 2021 on Zoom

Join us on Zoom as we celebrate with a live Hamantaschen baking demonstration by Nancy Goldberg. Also enjoy a presentation about the subtleties of wine making with wine-maven Ann Kisin.

Please RSVP to Miriam Beckerman at mesb@bex.net by Thursday, February 11, 2021. The Tikkun Olam project for this program will be a monetary donation to “Hannah’s Socks”, a local organization that serves men, women, and children affected by homelessness, poverty, and domestic abuse.

WCBI Celebrates Rosh Chodesh Tevet & Hanukkah: December 2020

The Women of CBI celebrated Hanukkah with games and crafts. Participants shared their favorite menorah and dreidel with the group. The Tikkun Olam project for this program was to help the residents of of Pelham Manor celebrate Hanukkah.

With the craft supplies and clay provided to each program participant, Ann Rosenberg created a beautiful Hanukkiah.

Todah Rabah to the Women of CBI who, as part of their Rosh Chodesh Tikkun Olam project, provided 36 Hanukkah bags to residents at Pelham Manor and other facilities. Cookie bakers were Miriam Beckerman, Judy Weinberg, Nancy Goldberg, and Cathy Sperling, and delivery drivers were Miriam, Cathy, and Joyce Moran.
