We look forward to another wonderful year at the David S. Stone School. Congregation B’nai Israel offers an outstanding religious school program open to all Jewish children and children of interfaith families. Children of interfaith couples may be enrolled in our Religious School provided that the child is Jewish or that there is intent to have the child converted to Judaism.
Our dedicated faculty teaches through a creative hands-on curriculum, where students develop an understanding of the beliefs, practices and values of Judaism. Our school offers programming for ages two years through 10th grade on Sunday mornings. Students ages 3rd-6th grade attend on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. Students are involved in many fun Jewish learning activities, such as cooking, stories, music, art, as well as special visitors. The students also participate in various mitzvah projects throughout the year. The students enjoy programming with their friends from other congregations to enable everyone to learn together and experience Jewish community.
We are proud of our religious school community in which students work with an engaging faculty, who bring each student Jewish values and a love for Judaism. Congregation B’nai Israel Religious School unites the students of our synagogue to learn, worship, and have positive social interactions in order to create the foundation for lifelong Jewish learning.
We look forward to another great school year at the David S. Stone Religious School, and are excited to again welcome our friends from Congregation Etz Chayim.
